Nafiu Abdullahi, a resident of the Katai community in the Wudil Local Government Area of Kano State, has weighed in on the reprisal attacks razing the community.
According to reports, police officers have invaded the Katai community in the Wudil Local Government Area of Kano State, burning houses and killing livestock after a resident of the community murdered a police officer.
However, in the video from 1:34 posted by Arise News, Nafiu Abdullahi, a resident of the Katai community in the Wudil Local Government Area of Kano State who witnessed the attack, made revelations regarding the attack.
He recalled how police officers came into the community and tried to arrest one of the residents without a warrant, and other members of the community refused them, which resulted in an altercation between both sides.
In the process of this altercation, a policeman lost his life, which infuriated his colleagues, and they returned the next day and burnt houses and killed livestock belonging to the residents.
