Rivers State Police Commissioner, Mustapha Bala, recently appealed to Governor Siminalayi Fubara for support and guidance in maintaining peace and security in the state.

In a live coverage by Symfoni TV from 9:09, Bala emphasized that the police are dedicated to achieving peace in Rivers but need collaboration from key stakeholders like Governor Fubara who he described as father of the state.

In Bala’s words: “You are our father, we are your children. To err is human, to forgive is divine. If you have children and one offends you, you flog him with one hand and embrace him with the other hand. So you carry everybody in the state as your children and ensure that if we try to derail, our doors and windows are open for constructive criticism and you can call me to order. But I want assure you I am a man of peace and I came here to ensure justice”
