Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has reacted after the lawmaker representing Borno South Senatorial district, Senator Ali Ndume claimed that people are calling him ignorant because he wears “Agbada”.
According to a report that was published by DAILY POST, Ndume said he is 65 years old and he schooled in Nigeria and America. He said he taught in polytechnics for 20 years before he joined politics.
Senator Ali Ndume stated that;
“I am 65 years old. I schooled in Nigeria and in America. Because I am wearing Agbada and because I’m from Borno State, some people call me ignorant. I taught in polytechnics for 20 years before I joined politics. I married two of my daughters to Yoruba men”.
Reacting to the statement that was made by Ali Ndume, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives stated that intelligence is not about going to TV stations to tell people the school you attended. Dogara stated that intelligence is about providing solutions.
He was quoted as saying that;
“Intelligence is not about going to TV Stations to be telling us the schools you went and grades you had. Intelligence is about providing solutions, otherwise, you are just a mere content creator”.
