The President-General, Initiative for Transparent Strategy and Good Leadership, Chizy Enyi, has, during an interview on NewsDay from 1:18, an Arise Television Programme, maintained that the government of Rivers State has decided not to respond to criticism made by members of the camps of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and the factional Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Amaewhule.

Mr. Enyi had said, “You know, this is the first time they are seeing a government that they call civil servant government, where even school children are now singing praises of the government. Before now, what we do is: Wike said this, we respond; Martins Amaewhule, the former Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly said this, we respond. But from now, Rivers people have decided to chart a new course, because the Governor is not a media person; the Governor is not a show man. We have decided to tell the people and the world the few things we know, in as much as we are not speaking for the government, but from the people, the few things we know the Governor has done, until when we get the compendium of all the things the Governor has been doing.”
