Elijah Aniete, a suspect paraded by the police for alleged fetish practices, has explained the items found in his church.

Speaking in a video shared by Channels TV from 7:21, Aniete disclosed that when the police entered his church, they saw a casket, a small box, and a native pot. He revealed that the native pot was used to prepare herbal medicine, which he drank after undergoing a medical operation. He explained that the casket found in the church was not for any illegal purpose but was used for deliverance activities.

Aniete insisted that the items were for personal and religious use, not for any fetish practices as alleged.

In Elijah Aniete’s words: “What they saw when they came to my church was one of the caskets, a small box and they saw a native pot which I use in cooking medicine to drink because I went for operation and they now said I should used this to cook medicine and be drinking. The casket was used for deliverance”
