In a viral video posted on the official X account of the Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization from 0.01, the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, has delivered a direct message to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to stop constantly reminding Nigerians about the country’s past challenges and instead focus on addressing the pressing issues facing the nation.

Obi expressed his dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs in Nigeria, stating bluntly, “I am not a happy person in Nigeria because we can’t continue like this. We can’t continue to breed poverty. That is not leadership.”

The former governor argued that President Tinubu was not elected to simply talk about how previous administrations have mismanaged the country, but rather to take concrete actions to improve the lives of Nigerians.

“We didn’t hire you to remind us of our past. It wasn’t as if we appointed you, you said; ‘I will do this,'” Obi said, emphasizing that the president should be more concerned with finding solutions to Nigeria’s problems rather than dwelling on the past.
