The Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Law Mefor, has spoken about the hotel in the state that was recently demolished after authorities found out that it was being used for illegal activities.

In a video shared by TVC from 1:04, Mefor said the hotel was used for kidnapping and possibly rituals. He revealed that the top floor of the hotel had about 30 partitions (graves). Mefor also stated that a shrine was found inside the hotel, which further raised concerns about what was happening there. He explained that no government or relevant authorities would approve such a setup for a hotel, as it did not serve any legitimate purpose.

In Mefor’s words: “It is a sad one. The hotel was being used for kidnapping and possibly ritual purposes because the top floor had 30 partitions (graves) for curious use as well as a shrine. That is not your everyday hotel and certainly no government or authorities would approve that kind of use. So no matter the argument of individuals that maybe the man had other reasons for partitioning the top floor, it cannot really fly”
