A human rights activist and a staunch member of the Labour Party (LP), Dele Farotimi, has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to reveal that he was never frightened when he was in lockup because he knew that he had won the first round of the fight.
According to a post on the official X handle of Dele Farotimi, the human rights activist said that when he was in lockup, he was only thinking about when the next round of the fight would begin.
Dele Farotimi’s post was in response to an X user who had expressed curiosity over what could have been going on in the mind of the human rights activist while in lockup. The X user, Mayom, had asked Dele Farotimi how he coped when his resolve was tested. Dele, in his response, said his resolve was not tested.
Dele Farotimi had written, “My resolve was NEVER tested, but I was waiting for next round of the fight to commence. I KNEW that the first round had been lost by those responsible for my imprisonment..”
