The founder of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu has taken to his official X account on April 1, 2026 to state that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ultimate aim is to become a sole candidate in 2027.
This came after the names of some leaders of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, were removed from the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
According to Channels TV, INEC Chairman, Prof Joash Ojo Amupitan stated that the commission will no longer recognize David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola as National Chairman and National Secretary of ADC.
In the post that Dele Momodu made on his page, he said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu wants to win the 2027 presidential election without anyone challenging him. He said the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC is doing everything possible to ensure that Nigeria is no longer a democratic nation.
According to Dele Momodu on his official X account;
