During an interview with Trust TV from 42:21, political activist and public affairs analyst, Dr. Usman Bugaje, spoke on the recurring religious tensions in Nigeria, emphasizing that both Muslims and Christians have continued to suffer as victims of the country’s deepening crisis.

Bugaje highlighted that the ongoing religious divide is not a new occurrence but rather a repetition of a historical pattern that has plagued Nigeria for decades.

According to him, these tensions have often been deliberately stirred by unseen forces seeking to create disunity among citizens. He noted that what is currently happening mirrors similar events that occurred many years ago, pointing to the persistent attempt to pit one religion against another in the nation.

He stressed that such conflicts do not originate naturally among the people but are products of manipulation designed to destabilize peace and coexistence.

In his words: “Muslims, Christians are all victims of the crisis that is taking place in Nigeria and that matter was dead from there. But now you can see it has been resurrected 87 years before 2017. There was a similar attempt. So this is a fairly consistent theme. Someone somewhere wants to create problems between Muslims and Christians in this country (Nigeria).” View, More,
