One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved $20,000 foreign medical treatment to military officers.

His reaction was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday.

According to PUNCH, President Bola Tinubu has approved $20,000 foreign medical treatment, bullet-proof SUVs and cooks, as a retirement package for service chiefs and generals.

In a post that Senator Shehu Sani shared on his page, he commended the President for the decision. The former Kaduna lawmaker urged the President to also consider the police and other paramilitary agencies in the country.

Here is what Senator Shehu Sani wrote on his official page;

“The $20k medicals approved by the President for Army officers is unprecedented and commendable. The police and other paramilitary agencies on the frontline should also be considered.

“Kudos to the CDS, General Christopher Musa and other service chiefs for their relentless efforts and dedication to protect and defend the country”.
