Senator Shehu Sani, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted after Kemi Badenoch, a UK Conservative Party leader, claimed police in Nigeria took her brother’s shoes and watch.
According to a report by Punch, Badenoch described her encounter with Nigerian police as highly negative, contrasting it with the positive experiences she has had with law enforcement in the UK.
In response, Senator Sani shared a report highlighting an incident where a British police officer was caught on camera kìcking a man in the head. Alongside the post, the former Kaduna senator remarked that Kemi Badenoch seemed to have overlooked such incidents involving British police.
On his official X (formerly known as Twitter) account, Sani wrote:
“Madam UK politician didn’t see that of the British police.”
