Nigerian activist and former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to his official X account on Tuesday to react after it was announced that the United State government is set to investigate the past United State Agency For International Development (USAID) funds that Nigeria has received.
According to Nigeria Stories, the United State of America Mission to Nigeria has announced that the US government has decided to investigate how Nigeria utilized all the past USAID funds that have been allocated.
Reacting after the report surfaced online, the former Kaduna lawmaker stated that there is the likelihood that the govenment of the United State of America may ask some of the people who have collected the USAID money in Nigeria to return it.
According to Senator Shehu Sani on his official X account;
“It means there is the likelihood that some of those who collected USAID money may be asked to refund it”.
