One of the chieftains of the Labour Party, LP, Dr. Yunusa Tanko has tackled the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the increase in the price of petroleum in the country.

In the post that he shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, he said the price of petroleum in the North has now risen to N1,000.

Yunusa Tanko said, in 2012, the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Increased the price of fuel from N67 to N97 but later reduced it to N87 in January 2015. He said it is a tale of two leaders.

Here is what Dr. Yunusa Tanko wrote on his official X handle;

“Congratulations! the pump price of petroleum in the North is now N1,000 (2024) In 2012, Jonathan’s administration increased fuel price from N67 to N97 but reduced it to N87 in January 2015. A tale of two leaders. Nigeria we hail thee our Renewed National Anthem”….VìêwMorê
