Dr. Moses Paul has stated that the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi was not thinking of Yunusa Tanko’s ethnic background or state of origin when he made him the National Coordinator of the Obidients Movement.
He made the statement on his official X handle on Tuesday.
In the post that he shared on his official page, he said Peter Obi made it clear that what matters to him is that Yunusa Tanko is competent and has the capacity to lead the Obidients Movement.
Dr. Moses Paul said Peter Obi’s decision was based solely on Dr. Yunusa Tanko’s background, character, dedication, passion, and commitment. He said the nomination sends a powerful message of unity for a movement that transcends Nigeria.
Here is what he wrote on his official X handle;
“Mr. Peter Obi made it clear that he does not know Dr. Yunusa Tanko’s ethnic background, his state of origin, or where he lives. What matters to him is the fact that he has previously worked with Dr. Tanko and believes in his qualifications to lead the movement at this point in time. Mr. Peter Obi’s decision was based solely on Dr. Yunusa Tanko’s background, character, dedication, passion, and commitment”.
