The former governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi has stated that he is surprised that Nigerians are not angry despite the hardship in the country.

His statement was contained in a report that was published by DAILY POST on Wednesday.

In the post that was shared online, the former governor of Rivers state stated that by now, Nigerians should be angry seeing people stealing their money. He said he is not happy that Nigerians are not doing anything.

He said currently, some of them can no longer afford to buy diesel because it is now very costly.

He was quoted as saying that;

“People should be angry because you cannot see a group of people stealing your money without doing anything. I am really angry with the citizens because they are not doing anything. Look at what happened in Edo State, should any politician be campaigning in Edo State? See, some of us cannot afford to buy diesel again because it’s costly”.
