Central Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly and a staunch member of the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Shehu Sani has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to react to the reduction in the price of petrol.

According to a post on the official X handle of Senator Shehu Sani, the former lawmaker from Kaduna State maintained that the Nigerian people are so exhausted that they are quick to move on if there is a change in the price of petrol. Senator Shehu Sani’s post is coming some hours after Dangote reportedly crashes petrol price to N899 per liter. Dangote had some weeks ago reduced the price of petrol before the recent reduction. The lawmaker, even though he did not mention Dangote, noted that Nigerians are quick to move on if the price of petrol changes.

Senator Shehu Sani had written, “People are so exhausted; even if petrol is reduced by N50, they just look and move on.”
