One of the chieftains of the Labour Party, LP, Oseloka Obaze has reacted after former Labour Party chieftain, Doyin Okupe said Peter Obi’s “consumption to production” mantra was not backed by any policy document.
In a post that Oseloka Obaze shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, he said the statement is balderdash. Oseloka Obaze said during the election, it was Doyin Okupe who chaired the finalization of the policy as Peter Obi’s DG. He said it is a shame.
Here is what Oseloka Obaze wrote on his page;
“I have long resisted reacting to Doyin Okupe’s diatribes on Peter Obi. But my Egbon and friend overeached and assumed the role of a beguiler in stating on record that “Obi’s consumption to production mantra was not backed by any policy document.
“What a shame, how low people can stoop! As Obi’s DG, Dr Okupe chaired the finalization of this policy document”.
