The Igbo Socio Cultural Group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has reacted after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu set to visit Enugu state.
The reaction was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of DAILY POST.
According to a post that was shared by Dan Nwomeh, the Special Assistant on Media to Governor Peter Mbah, Tinubu is set to visit Enugu state on Saturday to commission several projects.
According to Dan Nwomeh;
“The president will during the visit commission some of the numerous projects executed by our administration, such as the 30 completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools out of 260 under construction across the 260 wards in the state, 60 completed and equipped Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres”.
Reacting to the report, Ohanaeze Ndigbo urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to use the Enugu visit as an avenue to order the release of Nnamdi Kanu.
Here is what Ohanaeze Ndigbo said;
“It is therefore hoped that with the Enugu visit, President Tinubu will write his name with gold in the hearts of Ndigbo and all the well-meaning Nigerians, if he orders for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. In other words, there is hardly any society or group that can be complacent under severe existential threats”.
