According to a report that was published by CHANNELS TV, the former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has reacted after the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar said Rivers people have rejected him.
According to report, Atiku Abubakar made the comment after the APP won 22 LGAs in the local government election that was conducted in Rivers state.
Reacting to the statement that was made by the former Vice President, the FCT Minister stated that they didn’t contest in the election. He said they didn’t even pick form. Nyesom Wike stated that Atiku has lost election many times in Nigeria. He said Nigerians have also rejected him too.
According to Channels TV;
“We never contested local government elections. Did we contest? Did we pick form? I hear Atiku Abubakar say, Oh they have rejected me in Rivers State. Okay, assuming though not conceding, he had lost so many times, Nigerians have also rejected him”.
