Nigerian politician and former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu has stated that there is no tribe in Nigeria that is superior to any other tribe.

This statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday.

He made the statement as part of his Democracy Day’s speech.

In the post that he shared on his page, he said the level of tribalism in Nigeria today is simply frightening.

Kingsley Moghalu stated that equal justice and equity should never be compromised for anything.

The former Deputy Governor of CBN said that ethnic hate should not be responded to with similar attitudes. He said every Nigerian must stand up for their rights.

Here is what Kingsley Moghalu wrote on his page;

“The level of tribalism in Nigeria today is simply frightening. Equal justice and equity should never be compromised, and we all must stand up for our rights. But no tribe is “superior” to any other. And, certainly, ethnic hate should not be responded to with similar attitudes”.
