In recent report by Punch, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State spoke about his family’s deep involvement in Nigerian politics and the strong bond they share.

Adeleke said his father was a senator under the Unity Party of Nigeria in 1979 and that his late brother, Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke, also served as both a senator and governor. He said he (Ademola Adeleke) has served as a senator and is now the governor of Osun State.

Adeleke mentioned that his family’s success is due to their unity and the grace of God. He credited their mother, Esther Nnena Adeleke, for fostering a strong sense of togetherness among the siblings from a young age. He said this upbringing created a bond so strong that no external influence could break it.
