The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu has taken to his official X account to react after an X user accused him of abandoning former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
According to the post that X user made on his page, he said Kingsley Moghalu has abandoned the former President despite appointing him as the Deputy CBN governor during his tenure.
He wrote on his page;
“I believe Moghalu Kingsley can see and learn for himself. You can’t leave a President that appointed you a Deputy Governor of Central Bank and be singing praise of one Mallam up and down. People might not tell you but I hope you see this and learn”.
Reacting, Kingsley Moghalu stated that it’s not Goodluck Ebele Jonathan that appointed him as Deputy CBN governor. He said he was appointed by former President, Umaru Musa Yar’adua. He said it’s the former CBN Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi who recommended him.
According to Kingsley Moghalu on his page;
“The problem with ignorance! I was appointed Deputy Governor in November 2009 by the Late President Umaru Yar’Adua. May his soul rest in peace”.
