The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has vowed to ensure he deliver Rivers State to President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections, as reported by PUNCH.

Wike, who has remained a dominant political figure in the state, stated that he would maintain his influence and ensure that Rivers aligns with Tinubu’s political ambitions.

Wike’s statement comes amid a prolonged political battle with Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

The rift between the two leaders has divided the political structure of Rivers State, with different factions backing either Wike or Fubara.

Despite the ongoing crisis, Wike remains confident that his political camp will retain control of the state’s affairs.
