Dr. Moses Paul has addressed some of the statements and allegations that have been leveled against the former governor of Anambra state and Labour Party, LP, candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Peter Gregory Obi.
In the post that he shared on his official X handle on Monday, he said some people have stated that Peter Obi was arrested. He said some have also labelled him as the Donald Trump of Nigeria. He said many have also called on the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC to investigate him.
Dr. Moses Paul stated that all the coordinated attacks reveal a calculated effort to undermine Peter Obi’s credibility and momentum. He said it is a clear sign that his message of change and progress has struck a nerve, and those who benefit from the status quo are desperate to stop him.

“It is not a speculation that we hear that Mr Peter Obi is arrested, that he is the trump of Nigeria, that EFCC should get on his campaign finance and ultimately that he said he will be Vice President. It is no coincidence that we have been bombarded with a series of targeted narratives aimed at discrediting Mr. Peter Obi”.
