Federal lawmaker, Ikenga Ugochinyere has alleged that the 2017 raid on Nnamdi Kanu’s house led to the deaths of some people at the scene and Kanu had to flee to save himself

In a video recently shared by Symfoni TV from 3:56, Ugochinyere compared Kanu’s situation to his own experience when some armed men invaded his residence in Imo State to kill him. He recounted that he too had to flee for safety and the attack led to the deaths of some of his family members.

In Ugochinyere’s words: “The invasion of Kanu’s house was attempt to kill him. Everybody saw the day the people invaded and people were beheaded and killed and Nnamdi ran for his life. Nnamdi did not jump bail, you invaded somebody’s house. Just like when those murderers from my area, in the name of politics, tried to behead me and killed some of my family members. Didn’t we flee at the end of the day when we were able to survive? Even if I was on bail, should I have kept my head so that those people would cut it? So Kanu had to run to survive”
