Tanko Yunusa, the spokesperson for Peter Obi, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, disclosed that during his interactions with young people in northern Nigeria, they expressed a willingness to vote for a Christian-Christian presidential ticket in the 2027 election

In a video shared by Arise TV from 4:17, Yunusa stated that, contrary to assumptions that support for the Labour Party is declining, his findings indicate that the party’s support base is actually expanding, with more individuals expressing their commitment to its values.

In Yunusa’s exact words: “It is amazing for the first time in the federal Republic of Nigeria, especially in the Northern part where people do not want to associate with people from the south, especially from the southeast, today we have mallams challenging each other. Today we have young boys and girls saying in the next election we are going to put in a Christian-Christian ticket. When you think that the number of Labour Party supporters is dwindling, from our investigation that number is increasing”
