Dele Momodu, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted to Adams Oshiomhole’s comments about Asue Ighodalo, the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate in Edo State. Oshiomhole had criticized Ighodalo, saying he shouldn’t be elected because he does not know how to speak the language of his village

However, in a video shared by Arise TV from 6:48, Momodu expressed his disappointment and concern about Oshiomhole’s remarks. He said he was embarrassed that Oshiomhole was promoting division. He said being from Edo State itself is a significant qualification for Ighodalo to contest for governor

In Momodu’s words: “I watched my big brother comrade Adams Oshiomhole yesterday, I was embarrassed, I was scandalized that he was preaching division and saying somebody cannot speak a language. If your child is born in America today, automatically he gets an American passport, so the fact that Asue Ighodalo is from Edo State is enough, that is what qualifies”….Sêe_Morē
