Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the Special Adviser to the Vice President, Kashim Shettima has taken to his official X account to react after an X user told him that if he is scared of public criticism, he should resign and go home.
The X user said a public official who wants to be free from criticism should resign.
According to the X user;
“If you are holding public office and want to be free from public criticism, kindly resign and go home. I promise you, nobody will talk about your existence again”.
Reacting, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed stated that he’s not afraid of public criticism. He said his existence is not defined by his current engagement.
According to Hakeem Baba-Ahmed;
“Who told you I am afraid of public criticism? Say what I am doing wrong openly. I can respond to criticisms. My existence is not defined by my current engagement. Vast majority of my ‘critics’ dont know my history. Those who do, think they should decide for me whats right”.
