One of the lawmakers in the United State of America, Senator Ted Cruz has accused the government of Nigeria of persecuting Christians.
This statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
His statement is coming after Channels TV reported that some terrorists stormed a community in the Jos North Local Govenment Area of Plateau state and shot many residents. The report further stated that many people lost their lives while others were badly injured.
In the post that Ted Cruz shared on his page, he said the government of Nigeria imposed Sharia law in order to slaughter Christians.
The US lawmaker stated that the government of the United State of America knows those behind the attacks. He said they have the tools to hold the perpetrators accountable.
