The former lawmaker representing the Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly and staunch member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Shehu Sani, has taken to X (formerly known as Twitter) to react to the outcome of the 2024 presidential election in Ghana.

According to a post on the official X handle of Senator Shehu Sani, the former lawmaker from Kaduna State said Ghanaians have made Africa proud by their conduct during the 2024 presidential election in Ghana. He expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the presidential contest, as he went further to commend the effort of the Electoral Commission in conducting a fair election. He also congratulated the president-elect, John Mahama, on his victory at the polls.

Senator Shehu Sani had written, “The Ghanaian people once again made Africa proud. I’m delighted with the outcome of the election. Kudos to the Electoral Commission. Congratulations to @JDMahama”
