Former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dan Ulasi, has recounted his encounter with former President Goodluck Jonathan before the 2015 presidential election, revealing that he had warned Jonathan about his impending defeat.

Speaking during an interview with Symfoni from 17:30, Ulasi said he met the former president about five times at Jonathan’s own invitation, and during one of those meetings, he bluntly told him he was going to lose the election. According to him, Jonathan dismissed the warning, insisting that his political appointments across northern states already guaranteed his victory.

Ulasi said Jonathan was visibly offended by his prediction and almost asked him to leave the office, which eventually became their last meeting before the election.

In Ulasi’s words: “How did he (Jonathan) lose in 2015? They should ask him. And in an interview with either AIT or Channels, I said I met him five times as president of Nigeria, on his invitation. And on one occasion, I told him that he was going to lose the election. He said, ‘If not for the respect I have for you, I will walk you out of my office.’ That his ambassador in China is from Kano, his ambassador to the United Nations is from there—that the election is finished. That was the last time I went to his office.” See, More, Here>>>
