In an interview with Arise News from 21:00, APC chieftain Biodun Ajiboye accused election losers of attempting to make Nigeria “ungovernable” by orchestrating protests across the country. Ajiboye, who also serves as the Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Cultural Orientation, argued that these protests, initially meant to voice grievances, have often escalated into acts of public destruction.

“There are other people, election losers, that feel, ‘No, we will make this country ungovernable for this man.’ They’re orchestrating, calling people to be protesting here and there, so they started to protest,” Ajiboye stated. He suggested that while the government had provided a designated space for peaceful protests—MKO Abiola’s Stadium—some protesters had moved beyond this venue, leading to unintended consequences.

Ajiboye lamented that the destructive aspect of these protests had overshadowed any positive intentions. “How did we get to public destruction? That public destruction part of it has removed every good about that protest,” he added.

In his words;

“There are other people, election losers, that feel no we will make this country ungovernable for this man. They’re orchestrating, calling people to be protesting here and there, so they started to protest. If that protest can be curtailed. They gave them MKO Abiola’s Stadium, protest here ,say what ever you want to say here. How did we get to public destruction. That public destruction part of it, has removed every good about that protest”….Sēe _ Mørē
