The former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar has reacted after hearing about the death of a traditional ruler in Sokoto, Alhaji Isa Bawa.
According to SAHARA REPORTERS, the traditional ruler was killed by the terrorists who abducted him.
In the post that Atiku Abubakar shared on his official X handle on Wednesday, he expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
Atiku Abubakar said the failure of government to show concern or devise effective security strategies has undoubtedly contributed to the escalation of such distressing events in recent times.

“I wish to express my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the entire community of Gobir Emirate and the government of Sokoto State on the tragic loss of their esteemed monarch, Sarkin Gobir, HRH Alh. Isa Bawa.
The heinous act of violence perpetrated by bandits resulting in the untimely demise of such a revered leader is a stark reminder of the pressing need for enhanced security measures in safeguarding the lives and property of citizens”….Vìêw–Morê
