According to a video that was posted on the official X account of Channels TV on Tuesday From 2.38, the former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has accused the governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara of going on national TV to say that he won’t obey court judgment.

Nyesom Wike said the Rivers state governor also stated that he doesn’t need the police to conduct election and that he doesn’t need security operatives to secure lives and properties.

According to Nyesom Wike;

“The point we are making is that a governor came out on National television, not local television, to tell the world ‘I will not obey court judgement’. To crown it all, he said there is no where in the judgement that they said election should not hold. He went as far as saying that ‘I do not need police before I conduct election’. ‘I don’t need security operatives before I conduct election’. I don’t need to secure lives and properties”.
