Apostle Johnson Suleman, founder of Omega Fire Ministries, has strongly criticized Nigeria’s leadership following the killing of more than 40 residents in Gari Ya Waye community, Angwan Rukuba area of Jos, describing the tragedy as a clear sign of governance failure.

Suleman’s reaction was conveyed through a post on his social media page, where he lamented the continued loss of innocent lives and what he perceives as a lack of decisive action from those in authority. The attack, which occurred on Palm Sunday, has triggered nationwide concern and renewed calls for improved security measures.

Speaking on the incident, the cleric said, “Jos attack is another evidence of failed leadership. Leadership that prioritizes politics over protection of lives. Choosing rather to waste our collective patrimony in pre-election jamboree and pre-coronation plans.” He further cautioned that history would hold leaders accountable, adding, “Posterity will judge a leadership that now emboldens, enables and replicates what it once vehemently condemned.”
