Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle on Saturday to take a serious swipe at former governor and erstwhile transportation minister, Rotimi Amaechi. According to his statements which drew widespread attention from the general public, he pointed out that Hilda Baci’s rice was ready in Lagos.
Former governor of Rivers State and erstwhile transportation boss, Rotimi Amaechi has once again, come under intense verbal confrontations from Nyesom Wike’s special adviser on media, Lere Olayinka.
In the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Saturday, he used the ongoing Guinness world record being chased by popular celebrity chef, Hilda Baci to throw the uncanny jab.
Hilda Baci, widely admired for her culinary prowess, embarked on setting a world record for the largest pot of Jollof rice cooked by a single individual. The event took place at the Eko hotel in Lagos state.
According to Lere Olayinka, the jollof rice being prepared by Hilda Baci was ready. He asked were was Rotimi Amaechi. This, was a reference to Amaechi’s comments that he was among the hungry Nigerians.
The recent jab thrown by the special adviser to the FCT minister, Nyesom Wike underscores the deep divide between the two political heavyweights from Rivers State.
These were the words of Lere Olayinka which he shared on his official X handle,
“Jollof rice is ready in Lagos, where is Rotimi Amaechi?…..” He mockingly asked.
