According to a report by Channels TV from 13:43, on Saturday November 15, 2025, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, a politician who recently returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC), has emphatically rejected the claim of “Christian genocide” in Nigeria, arguing that the nation’s deeply intertwined inter-religious family structures, including his own and that of the President, prove that such a notion is false.

Jandor began by affirming the constitutional separation of state and religion in Nigeria, using the nation’s highest office as a primary example of religious tolerance and unity.

“I will use President himself and myself here as an example first to let everybody know that in Nigeria we don’t have official religion,” Jandor stated.

He highlighted the interfaith marriage of President Bola Tinubu: “President is a Muslim and is married to a pastor, the first lady.”

The politician then referenced his own family background, which he said features a blend of both faiths, demonstrating that Christians and Muslims peacefully coexist even within the same household.

“Jandor is a Muslim. My wife is a Christian. My mother lived and died a Christian. From my siblings from the same mother and father we have Christian we have Muslims.”

Based on this evidence of religious harmony and shared familial bonds, Jandor questioned the prevailing narrative of genocide.
