Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights lawyer and former chairman of the national human rights commission has taken to his official X handle to lament over a recent judgement delivered by the federal high court Judge, Justice James Omotosho. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the Justice has turned his court into a political playground.
The Judge of the federal high court, Abuja Justice James Omotosho has endured verbal criticism after taking over the case of the incarcerated IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
However, a recent ruling by the Chief Justice left many unimpressed and wondering about the decline in judicial prudence, given that the court was the last hope of the common man.
Reacting, Chidi Odinkalu, a former chairman of the national human rights commission in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, lamented over the actions of Justice Omotosho.
According to his now viral statements, he pointed out that the Chief Justice has turned his court into a political playground, favouring some particular set of persons.

Chidi Odinkalu, known for his outspokenness and fearless remarks, accused the Justice of bending the law in favor of the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike.
