Victor N. Izuchukwu has spoken about how he was almost killed by some kidnappers who invaded his home in Abuja

In an interview with Sahara TV from 2:56, Izuchukwu said that when the kidnappers entered his house, he hid in the roof to avoid being caught. He said the kidnappers later spotted him and gained access to the roof through his water safety tank. He stated that as one of the kidnappers approached him with an AK-47 and a machete, his fear suddenly disappeared.

Izuchukwu said the kidnapper tried to hit him with the machete, but he struck the man’s hand, causing the weapon to fall. He said they began fighting on top of the roof, and during the struggle, he managed to seize the rifle from the kidnapper. He stated that he attempted to shoot, but the gun did not fire because it was still on safety.

Izuchukwu said he and the kidnapper fell off the roof, and other members of the kidnapping gang then attacked him and tried to drag him away. He said he refused to go with them, and when they heard gunshots by police, they shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene.

In Izuchukwu’s words: “Those criminals saw me at the roof and they made access to the roof through my water safety tank. So when the guy was approaching me, honestly my fear left me. He was holding an AK-47 crossed on his body with a machete. So while he was coming close he tried to hit me, I hit his hand and the machete fell off his hand and we started fighting on top of the roof. While we were fighting I took his riffle from him, so I tried to shoot him, the bullet did not come out. For me I don’t know how to use a gun, it was later they now told me that the gun was on safety” View, More,
