In a video posted by TVC from 25:26, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of FCT, responded to criticism over his “take a bow” gesture, saying it’s an honour to be asked to do so. However, he also acknowledged that some people may feel humbled or embarrassed by the request. Wike made these comments during the commissioning of newly constructed roads in the Central Area.

He also took a swipe at certain television stations, accusing them of always focusing on the negative and criticising his gesture as humiliating for the permanent secretaries involved.

According to him, “It’s an honour to be called out to take a bow, but to tell you that human beings can never. This morning, of course, I hardly listen to some of these television stations. Some of them can never say anything good. They were criticising, ‘How will you call people who are permanent secretaries at their level to come and take a bow?'”….Sée Móre
