In a recent video, Senior Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the senior pastor of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM), addressed the public regarding the fire incident that struck Christ Embassy church on Sunday. His message stressed the need for unity and support within the Christian community.

“It is not Pastor Chris’ church that got burnt, but the body of Christ,” Prophet Jeremiah emphasized, pointing out that the incident should be seen as an attack on the entire Christian community rather than just one church. He criticized the negative reactions and speculation circulating online, which he noted were often propagated by fellow Christians.

“The enemies have come to cause problems within the body of Christ,” he continued. “Many Christians are spreading negative news and asking questions like, ‘Why did the church get burnt? Is the man of God not aware?’ God could have shown the man of God before it happened, but even if he had told you, what would you have done?”

Prophet Jeremiah called on Christian leaders—pastors, bishops, apostles, and evangelists—to stand together and speak out against the negativity being spread by some within the faith. He expressed concern that such actions could discourage people who are exploring their faith and might lead them to doubt the existence of God.

“It is important we know that everything we have is owned by God,” he reminded his viewers, urging them to maintain their faith and trust in God’s plan despite the incident. His message was a call to reinforce the unity and strength of the Christian community in the face of adversity…..Sēe Morē
