Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, had reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to Hezbollah and the regional resistance front, declaring that they remain alive and active with the full backing of the Iranian people.

According to a report by the Iran News Agency on Friday, 3 October, 2025, the Parliament Speaker of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammed Baqer Qalibaf while speaking during a solemn ceremony in the holy city of Qom in order to commemorate the first anniversary of the martyrdom of two former Hezbollah Secretaries-General, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and his successor, Sayyid Hashem Safieddine, positioned national unity as the cornerstone of this continued strength.

He also emphasized that the Islamic Republic, and its citizens, have demonstrated, through steadfast solidarity, that they would not yield to external aggression, declaring that through national unity and public participation, they would maintain and strengthen the capability and power of resistance.

In his words, Mohammed Baqer Qalibaf said “The Israeli regime has demonstrated a record of occupation, aggression, and the violation of nations’ rights for the past 77 years. Even during times when the [Israeli] regime appeared to declare peace or a ceasefire, it has consistently sought to impose war and exert dominance over the countries in the region. The history of its actions reveals its hostile nature and propensity for violence against civilians.”

The Iranian Speaker, Mohammed Baqer Qalibaf went further to frame the current conflict within a broader narrative of prolonged oppression, stating that the Israeli regime had demonstrated a record of occupation, aggression, and the violation of nations’ rights for the past 77 years.
