According to a report by IRNA on September 10, 2025, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s Parliament Speaker, declared that unified and coordinated action by the Islamic world is the most effective way to counter the Israeli regime’s reckless behavior.
In a message to Hassan bin Abdulla Al-Ghanim, Chairman of Qatar’s Consultative Assembly, Ghalibaf condemned the Israeli airstrike on the Hamas headquarters in Doha, stating it has sparked outrage and revulsion among Iranians and their lawmakers.
Ghalibaf affirmed Iran’s solidarity with Qatar and Palestine, denouncing the attack on Doha’s urban areas and the targeting of non-civilian guests hosted by Qatar’s government as a criminal act.
He expressed deep sorrow for the deaths of Palestinian and Qatari citizens, offering condolences and wishing a swift recovery for those injured in what he described as a malicious assault.
He labeled the attack a flagrant breach of international law and an act of state terrorism, highlighting the Israeli regime’s anti-human and anti-human rights nature.
Ghalibaf accused Israel, backed explicitly by Western powers, of perpetuating violence, crises, and instability in the region.
He emphasized that this incident underscores Israel’s consistent role in fueling regional unrest.
Ghalibaf reiterated Iran’s Parliament’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Qatar to address the threats posed by Israel to regional peace and security.
He stressed the importance of joint efforts to confront the destabilizing actions of the Israeli regime, particularly in light of its recent assassination attack targeting Hamas leaders in Doha.
The Israeli airstrike, which struck the heart of Doha, not only violated Qatar’s sovereignty but also demonstrated a disregard for civilian safety and international norms.
