Ann Kio Briggs, a member of PANDEF, has shared her thoughts on the political crisis in Rivers State.
Speaking in an interview with News Central TV from 4:42, Briggs disclosed that she attended a meeting with President Tinubu to discuss the political crisis in Rivers and during that meeting, she noticed that something felt seriously wrong, although she couldn’t immediately identify what it was.
Briggs stated that within five days meeting with Tinubu, the governor of Rivers State Siminalayi Fubara, the deputy governor, and members of the House of Assembly were suspended.
In Briggs’ words: “I was one of the delegates in that meeting and some other Rivers indigenes that are supporting Wike were invited but they refused to attend that meeting with the president. I noticed during that meeting that something was seriously amiss, I couldn’t put my finger on it but I noticed it and immediately after the meeting, the governor of Rivers, deputy governor of Rivers and the House of Assembly members were suspended”
