Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State and FCT minister, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to take a serious swipe at the former governor of Kaduna State Nasiru El-Rufai following his interview on ChannelsTv on Sunday. According to his statements which drew widespread attention from the general public, he accused the former governor of hypocrisy.

The former governor of Kaduna State and Chieftain of the ADC coalition, Nasiru El-Rufai came under verbal confrontations from different quarters following his interview on popular television outlet, ChannelsTv on Sunday.

His comments which generated massive controversies, were widely condemned by many, including Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

However, according to a recent statement which was published on his verified X handle on Monday September 1st 2025, the outspoken aide took a swipe at the former governor, accusing of of double standards.

From his post which had garnered widespread traction across various media platforms, he shared photos of the former Kaduna governor and his son at a public primary school where he was enrolled.

In his remarks, he pointed out that the deed was done out of hypocrisy as the then six-year-old boy was no longer in the school.

“When El-Rufai’s political deceit was still working. In September 2023, El-Rufai enrolled his then six-year-old son in public primary school. Where is the boy now? Still in the Kaduna public primary school?” He wrote.
