Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has spoken about the violence that occurred during the End SARS protests.

In a video shared by Channels TV from 2:30, Falana said in just one week, about 99 people were killed in Lagos. He also stated that in other cities like Port Harcourt, Ibadan, and Benin, many young people were shot at during the protests.

However, Falana noted that it seems the government is starting to learn from its past mistakes. He also emphasize the need for the government to handle protests more peacefully and protect its citizens, especially young people who are often at the forefront of demanding change.

In Falana’s words: “In one week about 99 people were killed in Lagos, I don’t want to talk about Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Benin and other places were young people were shot at and killed. The violence that characterized the end of the End SARS protest was instigated by the government. This time around, I think the government is beginning to learn from the past”….Seë_Morë
