Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed recently voiced his frustration regarding the Federal Government’s approach to states led by the opposition, in a video shared on the YouTube channel of Channels Television.
He contends that the federal government’s method of resource distribution is inequitable, causing opposition-led states such as Bauchi to face challenges in securing funding for essential projects.
“Other states are receiving substantial funding, and I am expressing my frustration because this situation is unjust, but this is the reality we have been facing,” Governor Mohammed stated.
He highlighted that this situation has created difficulties for opposition-led states in effectively governing and delivering essential services to their citizens.
The governor has called on his team to handle the state’s resources wisely, reducing unnecessary expenditures to guarantee the efficient use of limited assets.
He emphasised the importance of fiscal responsibility, considering the existing financial limitations.
