Kenneth Okonkwo, a veteran Nollywood actor and prominent political figure, has praised the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), describing it as a powerhouse of intellectual excellence that has contributed immensely to Nigeria and the Igbo community.
In an interview with SYMFONI TV from 9:36, Okonkwo expressed deep pride in being an alumnus of UNN, stating that the institution equipped him with the knowledge and confidence to compete with anyone globally. He emphasized that UNN has fulfilled its mission of restoring the dignity of man through its academic rigor and skill development.
He said the university’s impact extends beyond Nsukka to the entire Igbo land and Nigeria at large, producing individuals of high intellect and capability. According to him, no other region can boast of the same level of academic and professional training as Nsukka.
