According to the report from the Sun, a public affairs analyst, and the Convener, Reset Lagos, Dr. Adetokunbo Pearse shared his perspective on the recent presidential election, asserting that Nigeria was ready for a change in leadership.

He contended that the election was manipulated in favor of Tinubu, as evidenced by the lack of substantial votes in his favor, and criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for declaring Tinubu the winner.

Pearse further argued that Tinubu aims to implement similar election tactics at the local government level to maintain power in the 2027 elections.

As a public analyst, Pearse vowed to continue protesting against these unjust practices and expressed confidence that the youth-driven protests will persist until the current government is defeated.

He concluded that without election rigging, Tinubu’s chances of being re-elected in 2027 are slim.

He said, “This last election shows us that Nigeria was ready for the best person that can be president. If Yakubu didn’t give the election to Tinubu, he couldn’t have been the president. I don’t know who would have been the president, certainly not Tinubu because the votes never came in; INEC just declared him the winner and he wants what INEC did for him at the national level to be done in all the local governments. People like me who are public analysts would continue to protest. The young people who are in the streets will continue to protest until this government is defeated. Without rigging, Tinubu won’t come back in 2027.”….Sêe_Morē
